Each of the 26 calculators applies that business type's reported average SDE and revenue multiples to visitor-entered amounts. It shows the two indications separately beside the category's median reported sale price.
Does the widget collect visitors’ financial information?
No. SDE and revenue are calculated inside the visitor's browser and are not sent to businessvaluation.fyi, the publisher, or an analytics provider. Anonymous events contain only the selected business type and, for real embeds, the publisher's normalized hostname.
Is a source link required?
The copied block includes a small visible source attribution below the calculator. The link is marked nofollow, identifies the data and methodology source for readers, and is not intended to pass search-ranking credit.
Does the widget capture leads?
No. It does not ask for a name, email, phone number, company name, or account. A visitor can choose to open businessvaluation.fyi for a separate private valuation, but nothing is handed to a broker or advisor.
Will an installed calculator stay current?
Yes. The iframe loads from businessvaluation.fyi, so source-period labels, calculation safeguards, and usability improvements update without requiring the publisher to replace the embed code.
